Hi Jerry, I’ve been working my way through ‘blood on the tracks’ , particularly the open d tunings. Any chance of ‘if you see her,say hello’ coming up soon…
Many thanks
Karl.

Hi Jerry
I love your teaching style, and great catalogue. One song I’d love to see added is If You See Her Say Hello. Any plans for adding it? I’d be an instant sale and suspect there will be many others given the quality of the song and difficulty of finding good versions on the internet.
cheers
David

Hi Jerry- I caught myself humming “This Land is Your Land” earlier today (for no apparent reason) and it occurred to me that there’s no Woody Guthrie in your inventory. Then I thought “Why would there be? I don’t even need tab to strum most of his stuff”. Then it occurred to me that the world does need a good, comprehensive lesson on talking blues. “Talking Fishing Blues” for example. Of course, I won’t request it. I won’t live long enough to get through your existing backlog. (Will you?) Then I thought “Hold on. Bob Dylan gets special treatment. Maybe Jerry could slip in something like “John Birch Society Blues”, with some embellishments.” Brilliant, right? Except I looked it up and saw that Dylan isn’t on your list of special cases, Donovan, Joni, et al (Who knew that Donovan had that many tunes? Evidently you did.) So, that’s that. I guess I’ll have to figure out talking blues on my own. It’ll be good for me.
But since I [might] have your attention, two questions: Can you tell me where Caddo County (Vernon Thompson) is on the list? And: Any news on the voting procedure? Thanks!
Thanks again for your work.
Frank says
“Verlon” Thompson. Curse you auto-spellcheck!
Jerry says
Hey Frank
Bob Dylan was one of the pre-pay artists but I finished up his songs a couple of years back.
There are only about 20 or so or each of the others to go (a few more for JT).
Verlon Thompson looks about 5 months away or so.
Frank says
5 months! That’s terrific! I’ll make a point of living that long, corona virus permitting.

Great collection. I was wondering if you could pull off an acoustic version of “What’s a Sweetheart Like You”
Jerry says
I’ll add it to the to-do list Don
Greg says

in what seems like an otherwise good program, i just made my first song lesson purchase ( boots of spanish leather ) and was disappointed that the slow motion feature doesnt work. is that some thing that can be fixed on your end ? ( i’m computerly challenged ) i”l look forward to your response. thank you p.s. i do’nt know what the website benieth refers to.
Jerry says
Hi Bruce
The slow-motion feature is a function of your video player rather than the video itself.
If you can tell me what video player you’re using I may be able to help a bit more.
I’m afraid I didn’t understand the comment about ‘the website beneath’.
Best wishes
Jerry
