Hey Jerry…any chance you’ll do JT’s, “Nothing Like a Hundred Miles?” Your videos are compelling!
Jon Martin says
Hi Jerry – I’ll throw in another pitch for JT’s Traveling Star. Particularly beautiful chord voicings and interesting transition moves on that one. There are a couple of weak tutorials to be found on You Tube, but none of them nail the nuances that I know you could nail that make those progressions so cool.
Doug Beebe says
Agree! Would love to nail that one down. Gorilla too! There’s a great recording on the Steel City concert from 1976. I know it’s a simple tune but he does some amazing playing on it.
Elyse says
I would love to see a tutorial for Traveling Star. Thanks for all the JT goodness.
Jonathan Dilks says
Hi Jerry – Just wanted to take this opportunity to offer thanks for all that you do; your tutorials are simply wonderful! I am a huge JT fan and it’s always a thrill when you a JT tune is covered by you. My favourite album of all time has always been One Man Dog (I was able to tell this to Peter Asher, its producer, last year and he was really appreciative) and I have just learnt ‘One Morning in May’ to add to all the other tunes from that album you’ve done thus far – thank you. If you ever get round to doing ‘One Man Parade’ I’d be hugely appreciative.
Jerry says
Funnily enough One Man Parade is the next JT song to be done.
It’ll be ready in 3 weeks or so I’d guess.
Great song!
Jonathan Dilks says
You absolute legend! I think quite a few of you’re recent JT songs have not always featured in your upcoming list. As a result, when the do appear, they come as a very pleasant surprise. Thanks so much.

Hello,
Got “like everyone she knows” a couple weeks ago as I really love the intro. Got all the notes ok – putting them together with right rhythm a little more challenging :-) but i’m getting there. If a guy can’t learn a piece with your lessons it’s time to try something else.
Steve says
Hi Jerry. Thanks for all the great lessons, JT is my all time favourite. Any plans to do Terra Nova? I’ve never been able to quite figure out the intro.
Jerry says
Hi Steve. Yep, I am planning to do that one.
Steve- Gibson says
That’s great news! Glad to hear it’s on the list.
Ashton Rowan says
Hey Jerry, thank you so much for your tutorial on You Can Close Your Eyes. It helped me to learn my favorite James Taylor song! Your lesson on You’ve Got a Friend was also terrific. It would be greatly appreciated if you could make a lesson for Lighthouse. Thanks!
Jerry says
Thanks Ashton.
I will be doing Lighthouse.
Doug Beebe says
Lighthouse! Fantastic! Looking forward to that one.

October road from october road would be such a blast to learn from you!
Brent Sclafani says
Jerry have you considered “One Morning in May?”
Doug Beebe says
Hi Jerry! Thanks for the JT lessons. They have really unlocked some blocks I had playing one of my favorite artists. How about “Music” from Gorilla?
Jerry says
Music is going to be the next JT song.
Doug Beebe says
Great news! Thanks!

Hey Jerry, I appreciate the James Taylor lessons. Keep it up, plenty of great songs to chose from. Lighthouse would be a good one.
Thanks
Roger
Tom McCaslin says
Got to admit Jerry, my playing has progressed a lot thanks to your lessons. I am a James Taylor fan. One that is missing from your JT collection is the song Our Town from the Pixar movie Cars.
The song is classic James Taylor with a beautiful guitar arrangement. There are a couple of nice covers out on YouTube, but I really need you to work your magic and produce a tab on this one.
Thanks for your awesome work.
Jerry says
Hi Tom
I have a large number of JT songs already committed to, but when I’m through them I’m sure I can get to this one.
Jeb Farneth says
Hello jerry, I recently purchased James Taylor’s song “lo and behold” but I printed out the tab and deleted the videos by accident is there any way I can retrieve the video lessons? Thanks
Jerry says
Hi Jeb. I’ll send the link by email.
