Is it worth tuning this song to Open C without having to tune to Open A + Capo on 3rd fret?
Just a thought as it already sounds like Open C when you put that Capo on 3rd with Open A.

Open C (as it’s normally done: C G C G C E), doesn’t have the same intervals between the strings, or the root bass note in the same place, so, although you could do it in principle, the tab won’t work any more. You’d have to transcribe it for the open C tuning.
