David Bowie’s Heroes is one of his most iconic songs, but the live acoustic version from the Bridge School benefit shows it in a whole new light. Stripped back to just voice and guitar, the song’s power comes through in its rawest form.This lesson takes that performance as its starting point. Since the original featured an electric solo alongside Bowie’s acoustic, I’ve created a self-contained one-guitar arrangement that includes a playable guitar break. The result is a complete version you can perform solo, capturing both the intimacy and the drama of this classic.

The complete lesson contains a lesson video and a performance-standard play-thru video. It also contains the guitar tabs as PDF files and a songsheet with the chords and the lyrics of the lesson (if applicable), also as PDF files.
The videos are MP4 format and will play on PC’s, Macs and most mobile devices.
