Difficulty level: Intermediate
Bar Chords: No
Thumb-over Chords: No
Playing Style: Strummed
Tuning: Standard
There are separate lessons for the three main parts of this song. The lesson for Donovan’s acoustic guitar part is easy, strummed throughout, no barre or thumb-over chords. The lessons for the bass part and sitar part (both arranged for acoustic guitar) are intermediate – the bass part because of some syncopated rhythms and the sitar part for a single-note scale run.
Solo singer-guitarists will want to use the lesson for Donovan’s acoustic guitar part. Those with access to other guitarists can try the full 3-part arrangement by adding the bass and sitar parts, both of which are arranged here for acoustic guitar.
