Happy to chime in with suggestions! 😉 (Even happier there are others who might want some ragtime lessons!)
“That’ll Never Happen No More” is great. Jorma Kaukonen from Jefferson Airplane does a version of this on YouTube (this is Jerry-bait, because I know he is a fan of the Airplane)

“Police Dog Blues” another good one, more advanced.
Cheers!

Noted.
Coming up is some Robert Johnson (not exactly the same thing I know) then maybe some Mississippi John Hurt and Blind Blake.
Truth is that I have a somewhat different style to that classic country blues thumping bass. I won’t sound all that authentic but hopefully I can get the idea across.

Great. Thanks, Mark. Looks like Jerry is going to be busy.

Excellent stuff, Jerry. A lovely fingerpicking tour de force in its own right as well as being a gateway to the ragtime style. Worth every penny. Many thanks. Any chance of some ‘easy’ Blind Blake?
Jerry says
Tell me which one you’d like and I’ll add it to the list.
RMay says
Jerry, I’ll leave that to you. Suffice to say, I’m very much a novice where ragtime is concerned!
