This lesson teaches Greg Lake’s guitar part on the original studio version. He plays it on a 12-string but I teach it on a 6-string. You can use either and what you learn here will still be correct. The orchestral interlude after each verse, (Prokofiev’s Troika), is taught in two ways. You can play what Greg Lake plays accompanying the orchestra. This is authentic but you won’t hear the important Prokofiev melody. Alternatively, you can learn a fingrstyle arrangement of that part which isn’t played on the record but allows you put that all-important melody into a 1-guitar version.
