Learn how to play Hank Williams – Your Cheatin’ Heart note-for-note on guitar.
Difficulty level: Easy (rhythm part) – Intermediate (lead part)
Barre chords: Yes
Thumb over chords: No
Playing Style: Strummed with picked bass notes (rhythm). Hybrid picked (lead).
There are two lessons in this one. The first is the very easy rhythm part as played on the original. The second teaches an arrangement of the solo instruments for electric guitar. The solo instruments on the original are lap steel and fiddle, but here we’ve arranged everything played by both those instruments into one electric lead part. That includes the lap steel solo and all the lead licks and fills between vocal lines.
