Hi Jerry, Thank you for this – another fantastic lesson!
I was struggling with the thumb-over (small hands…). Someone gave me a great tip:
tune the 6th string up a half-tone*
So simple – really made building up a bit of speed possible.
Thanks again!
(* requires playing G on 2nd fret of 6th string on Am7/G; C/G; G – v doable.)

I downloaded with WinRAR (I think it’s free), and listened to the play-through. (I usually do that for every download; if the play-through is okay, all the other files probably downloaded okay, too.)
That’s an _excellent_ performance on the play-through, Jerry. Thanks for helping add another great song to my “Must-Learn List.”

I see the video on Youtube, and it says the tabs are here. But there are no tabs. I downloaded a file (not sure what it was, it said nothing about tabs), a very large zip file that took about 5 minutes. And I get a window that tells me I need to buy Winzip. Obviously, I don’t want to do that. Any way to get the tab?

Could not download the file. Do you suppose my internet security would not allow the download?? Any suggestions on what might work?? Appreciate you making Jackson Browne’s “These Days” available for a free download. I’ve always liked that song and would look forward to any other arrangements you would do of Jackson Browne. Thanks, Rex in Iowa, USA

Hi Rex. This one’s been downloaded several hundred times so I think something’s happening at your end. EMail me through the ‘Contact Me’ page and I’ll try to send another way.
Cheers

Jerry,
Thank you so much for posting this song! It’s kind of ironic because I just started trying to play this song a few months ago and I got close but could not get it right. I got frustrated after a few rounds and put it behind me as a failure. This song doesn’t sound hard to play (and now that you have so masterfully clarified it, it isn’t hard at all), but it was a bear for me to figure out by ear. Because of you, I can now play and sing one of my favourite songs just like it was meant to sound.
Thanks,
Amanda

I’m really pleased to hear that Amanda :)
