The arrangement is in the key of D and has all the hallmarks of Taylor’s style, including his characteristic D chord hammer-on and pull-off licks that give the part its flowing, expressive feel. The accompaniment is intricate and detailed, with frequent chord changes and constant movement in the left hand that bring the song to life.
Individually, none of the elements are especially difficult, but the challenge comes from tracking the rapid chord shifts and keeping everything smooth and connected.
