I almost exclusively fingerpick, so am challenged by having to use an *actual* pick.
What thickness of pick do you recommend for this song? I’m experimenting, and–weirdly– find I prefer a heavy pick for the verse and a thin pick for the chorus.

I wouldn’t recommend changing pick during the song :)
One rule of thumb is ‘the more strumming there is, the softer the pick, the more picking there is, the harder the pick.’
This one is in the middle somewhere. I’d suggest trying a .73.
