Hi Jerry – Yes, thank you so much for adding this one. Already downloaded and will start work on it this afternoon. Like Kathleen, I have faked the song best I could but looking forward to learning it “proper.” Like Phil, I first heard Tom Rush do the song, as I was mis-spending my youth in Boston MA.
It is a hauntingly beautiful song, especially for those of us in the Frozen northeast of the US, who are plying the fire with kindling and pulling the blankets to our chin.\
I know you have a lifetime of requests – but I hope you can consider “Ashokan Farewell” – everytime I hear it, I think “I can hear Jerry doing this one.”

Hi Jerry
Just bought urge for going one of my favorite songs. So many times I have thought of requesting it I love the song and the lyrics. I have to be honest full marks to Joni but my missed spent youth was spent listening to the cover version by Tom Rush.
This will encourage me to continue with my picking.
Many thanks
Phil
