Do you only make popular songs? I really like Paul Simon’s song “Carlos Dominguez”, I want to learn how to play it.

What a lesson!! Still have bridge and the outro to go…
Really well put together. Thanks Jerry!
Jerry says
Thanks Ashvin. It’s not the easiest to master, but worth it.

Oh my God Jerry! Tis is such a BEAUTIFUL tab!! Playing at all my pain goes away. Thanks so much!!
Jerry says
Credit to Paul Simon. Its a beautiful song.
So glad you’re enjoying it.

Was hoping for a tab for I do it for your love. I think you said it’s on the list! The chords for 50 ways to leave your lover sound beautiful-not sure if one can do a guitar version. Anyway, this will keep me busy for a while. Just made it through the intro…Thanks Jerry.

This is Ashvin-not sure why it is making me anonymous! This song is so beautiful I’ve got to play it even if my fingers drop off!!

Hey Jerry,
Know may way around the song now-thanks to your tab and am actually enjoying playing it! Unbelievable! One problem I have is that one has to sing it at a very high pitch! My voice is not what it used to be sadly! But nevertheless, ust recording my thanks to you for a wonderful tab.
On another note I was just fooling around and strummed Em, D, C and B and found myself in the middle of 50 ways to leave your lover! The chords to that song feel tantalizingly beautiful-so I know you are busy-but am pleading with you to add it to your interminable list-for all I know it may already be on it.

I cast my vote for it enthusiastically. Corcovado (which actually has English lyrics), Desafinado (the word means “out of key”) (for which people have written English lyrics), Art Garfunkel did Waters of March which is a bossa nova song by Joao Gilberto-anything by Gilberto or Jobim you can’t go wrong.
The more I play So Long Frank Lloyd Wright-from your amazing tab-the more I feel the strong bossa nova influence. From the little I have heard, my impression is that the chords for this music are very delicate and beautiful. Like Still Crazy after All these Years or I Do it For Your Love.
If anyone can bring this beautiful music into my life through the guitar, you can do it Jerry! I will be eternally grateful!

Oh man o man! What a treat. Was waiting for Armistice day which by my estimate is for August, BUT hey this is great!!! Fillin’ out that Paul Simon catalog. So happy you did this. And then of course Armistice Day coming sometime soon I hope. Fabulous!
Ashvin Rajan says
Been waiting a LONG time for this Jerry!! Thanks! Am learning SO Long Frank Lloyd Wright now and am so happy!!
Ever thought of working on bossa nova lessons (Desafinado is my favourite).
Jerry says
I’m not much of an expert in bossa nova, but if people would like it I’ll do it.

I don’t know that much about Bossa Nova either Jerry! But the two songs I like are Desafinado, and Corcovado. You probably know them! Joao Gilberto has the famous guitar versions. From what I’ve heard this music inspired So Long Frank Lloyd Wright. The strumming techinque from So Long Frank Lloyd Wright seems to resemble Bossa Nova. Anyway-still waiting for “I do it for your love” from Still Crazy…
I found some chords I can play it to, but there’s musical interlude…which I have no idea how to approach, and you pulled that off beautifully for Still Crazy!
I am having so much fun with the stuff that’s already on your site, and there’s a lot to keep me occupied! So obviously no expectations on my part apart from mild requests!
