Hi Jerry
Just wanted to post a big thank you for the fun I’m having this week. For ages I struggled with my absolute favourite acoustic song, Transported by Steve Knightley, but found the chords in his songbook really difficult to grip. So I gave up for a bit and went back to some of the songs I’ve bought for you. Who Knows Where the Time Goes started to feel familiar and I realised that they share a lot of the same chords to the extent they could almost be companion pieces. Steve’s songbook alongside your Sandy Denny lesson has me flying on both! A useful two for one deal!

PS. Re. the wonderful Sandy Denny, you have solved a long-standing mystery for me. Have been playing an approximation of Fotheringay for many years but was always baffled that the intro didn’t sound quite right. I tried all manner of things but just couldn’t hear what was wrong until your lesson revealed the base F in the D minor chord. Thank you, Jerry!!

Hello Jerry,
Am so truly delighted to have found you! But, oh, I’m going to have to watch my time and money now – so many lovely songs to learn! Have already spent several hours with some of your preview videos. Don’t suppose you could suggest a good accompaniment to the song Waly Waly?
All best, Melanie

Hi Melanie. Welcome aboard! I haven’t looked at Waly Waly I’m afraid. It’s a piano song of course but it could be transcribed onto guitar. I’ll add it to the list.
