Do the two parts of your “Uncle John’s Band” lesson, the rhythm and the lead, lend themselves to being combined while playing the song (by an intermediate player with no great musical talent)? In others words, to the playing of the important parts from each at their appropriate time in the song. I’m thinking particularly of the iconic first part of the lead part. It seems boring to just three chord strum the rhythm part, even though the strum is interesting. Perhaps that is in fact how you’ve set the lesson up, and do it in the play through. Or is this lesson only especially useful if there are two players? Thank you.

BTW, love your lessons. Would really love to see you do one for JJ Cale’s “I Got The Same Ol’ Blues.”

It teaches the rhythm and lead parts separately I’m afraid Dan.
It may be possible to incorporate some element of the lead part into a 1-guitar arrangement, but that isn’t how it’s taught.
I’ll add Same Ol’ Blues to the list.
