The Rolling Stones – Wild Horses
Learn how to play The Rolling Stones – Wild Horses note-for-note.
There are two lessons available for Wild Horses: the 1-Guitar Arrangement and the full lesson. Please note that the 1-Guitar Arrangement is included in the full lesson.
If you know you’ll only want to play the song as a solo voice and acoustic guitar piece, choose the 1-guitar arrangement which is a melding of all the acoustic parts into one stand-alone part. The full lesson includes the 1-guitar arrangement, plus it teaches separately the acoustic parts by Mick Taylor and Keith Richards, as played on the original track. It also contains a break down of Keith’s lead electric part.
Difficulty Level: Intermediate
Barre Chords: Yes
Thumb-Over Chords: No
Playing Style: Strummed with some picked notes. (The lead sections are picked on electric guitar).
Tuning: The 1-Guitar arrangement is standard tuning. The full lesson also employs Nashvilletuning and Open G.
Separate Solo: Yes
The 1-Guitar arrangement contains a lesson video, a performance play thru video, full tabs, chords and lyrics, and is 245 Mb. The full lesson contains multiple video files covering all sections of the song and is very large – 930 Mb.
Chords & Songsheet Preview
You’ll receive at least two videos per song, one lesson and one performance-standard play-through. You’ll also receive the chords/lyrics and guitar tabs as PDF files.
The videos are mp4 format and should play on PC’s, Macs and most mobile devices.
They will download as Zip files. If you don’t have a Zip program on your PC you’ll need to install one to open the file. I use Zipeg which you can get free, here.
